Certificate in Clinical and Translational Science

Pre- and Postdoctoral Fellowships in Research Training in Drug Abuse Behavior
There will be 1 pre-doctoral traineeship available effective July 1, 2016. There are no post-doctoral fellowships available for the upcoming year.
Interested applicants should send the materials listed below to Dr. Craig Rush (crush2@email.uky.edu) before April 1, 2016.
Pre-Doctoral Candidates:
Candidates for the Pre-Doctoral opening should submit the following items, except the letters of recommendations, to Dr. Rush as a single PDF (using the file name, LastName_Firstname_Pre_2016). The letters of recommendation should also be submitted to Dr. Rush as a PDF. The candidates should check Dr. Rush regularly after submitting their materials to ensure the letters of recommendation have been received.
Application Materials:
1. A letter from applicant describing their career objectives and how a T32 traineeship in drug abuse behavior would further their goals.
2. Project Title, Abstract and Specific Aims of their research. A behavioral outcome measure should be clearly stated in the Specific Aims.
3. A current curriculum vita (CV).
4. Their graduate academic record (i.e., official transcript).
5. A letter from his or her proposed NIDA faculty supervisor(s) expressing their level of enthusiasm for the applicant.
6. A recent biographical sketch from the proposed faculty supervisor(s).
7. Three letters of recommendation.
Priority will be given to those pre-doctoral candidates who propose to work on NIDA-funded or NIDA-related projects.
A selection committee will then rate the applicants and the most qualified applicants will be offered the positions. Awardees will be notified by May 2016.
