Undergraduate Education

The Department offers a growing roster of courses  in response to increasing demand for interdisciplinary undergraduate courses in health and social sciences. These courses, many of which are offered through the University of Kentucky’s Honors College, teach students to integrate psychological, anthropological, and basic science approaches to the study of human health. They emphasize writing techniques and critical thinking while also introducing students to the concepts that will appear on the new behavioral science section of the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) in 2015.
